Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar levels caused by insulin resistance or inadequate insulin secretion. It is the most common form of diabetes and is often associated with lifestyle factors such as obesity, physical inactivity, and poor diet. The symptoms of Type 2 diabetes may include frequent urination, thirst, hunger, fatigue, and blurred vision.

Participants must be:

  • Male or non-pregnant female participants between 18 to 65 years,
  • BMI ≥25 and ≤40 kg/m2,
  • Diagnosed with Diabetes mellitus Type 2 within the last 15 years.
